What makes a ho a ho? Ho is a term that we often throw around when a woman embraces her sexuality in a way we understand. Black Chyna, Rihanna, and Ciara are just a few famous woman who has been label as ho's in the past year some even longer. Ciara has been linked four famous men publicly, and there is the assumption that she slept with all of them (nobody knows for sure except for her unless you were present every time she slept with a new man. Every time Rihanna is seen in a picture with a man she is accused sleeping with and further labeled ho. On the other hand, Black Chyna has admitted that she a received money for sex. All three women have been labeled as a ho, all the while men like Drake, Chris Brown, and Rick Ross make money from promoting their hoism.

 

As shows like Scandal, Being Mary Jane, and Insecure all give their characters the sexual freedom that they deserve, I couldn't help but notice that beneath the sexual freedom each character wants to be loved on some level. However, if they were men would we even notice?On "Insecure" Lawrence met two random white women in the grocery store and let them use him for nothing more than a piece of meat and men applauded. While over on "Power" Ghost manages to juggle Tasha and Angie, and no one bats an eye. However, when Tasha engages in her affair, she is labeled a ho.
