As Cyclone Alfred moves closer to the coast everyone is concerned about how much longer we’ll have access to power and electricity. 

Many have reported getting scam messages from Energex to say that they will be turning the power off before the cyclone hits. 

Danny Donald from Energex told Bill McDonald on 4BC Mornings, "We are certainly not turning any power off as the cyclone crosses the coast, we will have power until Mother Nature tells us we don't have power anymore."
