Hodgepodge 5.2: A Little Bit of Everything

Listen Later

Hodgepodge 5.2: Thank you to several folks who pointed out that Walter was AI. I looked into it and it was a fake. Our apologies. We've rebooted HP5 replacing that time with some new videos, some of which are Christmas themed, including a short live poll asking "Is it better to give or to receive?" Music, comedy and a family Christmas game (yeah, they overacted a bit, but I think the idea is cute).

HP5.2 opens with a powerful teaching on the Hebrew word Bereshit meaning “beginning,” uncovering how the gospel is woven into the very first word of the Bible. That foundation leads seamlessly into a stirring performance of John 1 by the Indiana Bible College Choir, reminding us that the Word was present from the very start.

From there, HP5.2 shifts into snapshots of real world work and everyday life, highlighting purpose beyond the pulpit. You will also see the remarkable testimony from David Ring, an evangelist from the 70's born with Cerebral Palsy. Yes, I checked him out and he's a real guy.

The episode wraps with an unforgettable bike ride, epic moments, and a few spectacular fails that bring both perspective and laughter to the journey.

Hodgepodge 5.2 blends truth, testimony, creativity, food, and joy, showing that God meets us in beginnings, in ordinary life, and even in unexpected moments along the way.
