Though Bryce runs through the city to escape Hunt in the aftermath of the temple acolyte’s murder, Hunt trails her, torn between ensuring his own security and apologizing. Bryce hides in the White Raven and meets Juniper, but their brief gathering meets a timely end. Hunt spirits Bryce away to Ruhn’s house to patch her up, where Ruhn brings the news of the Keres group’s involvement with the explosion. The result? New roomie for Bryce by the name of Hunt Athalar.
