In this inspiring series, we share our journey alongside nursing students from Hofstra University in America and Love Without Borders Nonprofit, which offers a transformative student service program in Greece. Many of these students, guided by supportive faculty, are experiencing their first interactions with refugees, and they are profoundly impacted by the daily realities these individuals face. These students are also able to apply their skills to provide vital medical assessments for the community, addressing immediate health needs. A unique aspect of our program is the use of art as a medium to empower refugees, giving them a voice to express their stories and experiences in meaningful ways.
