During the summer months of 1947 and 1948, the farmlands of Indiana were plagued by some monstrous creature slaughtering livestock. It would crush the snouts and rip out the hearts to feast upon.

Every farmer armed themselves with shotguns to protect their livelihood. Curiously, the descriptions and even the number of the creatures would change over the months.
