"Hold fast" was a term used by sailors to hold on for dear life when the raging storms hit their ship at sea. What's the point of holding onto Jesus when life's storms come at us? Jesus has our best interests in mind, even when we struggle with faith. Hold fast to Jesus when times are tough; there will be a time where we can let go and where we are safe.
