Welcome to Ontario Community Church's Sermon Podcast.
Pastor Patrick Dailey preaches on Revelation 2:18-29 titled: Hold Fast to the Morning Star.
Jesus commends the church at Thyatira for their love, faith, service, and patient endurance. Their latter works exceed the first and they are growing in love. Yet, He confronts them for tolerating "Jezebel," a false prophetess leading believers into idolatry and immorality.
Today, we'll explore what it means to resist compromise, let Christ search and refine our hearts, and hold fast until He returns as the bright Morning Star. To the faithful, Christ promises authority and the morning star: Himself.
Connected readings include Psalm 2:8-9; 1 Kings 21:23-25; 2 Kings 9:30-37; Malachi 3:2-3; 2 Peter 1:19; Revelation 22:16.
May we refuse compromise, resist evil, and hold fast to the hope of Christ's return.
