This track is the first in my mixtape series, and it's all about beats sampled by hand. Working with underground artists got me inspired to actually try picking music and chopping it up for samples myself. It really takes a lot of attention and a good ear to make those cuts and get each piece to line up. I gained a whole new respect for the process, so this is my attempt at an homage to the greats, set against verses that reflect on life and my experiences. Please enjoy.
