Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
Hebrews 11:1 NKJV
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
The Greek word for “hope” is (elpis).
– Confident, forward-looking trust in God. – Confident expectation of God’s promises. – A deep, forward-looking trust in what God will fulfill in the future – Not wishful thinking, but assured trust rooted in faith Hope (elpis) stands as a kind of spiritual perseverance—the trust that sustains believers between now and the fulfillment of God’s promises.
