That's why I'm pumped to have Jon Engle on the show today to talk about the Hold The Line Fly Fishing organization - An organization that specializes in getting people struggling with PTS and PTSI out on the water, and getting people to embrace nature as a restorative outlet.

Jon is a 14 year veteran of the fire service. He is currently a paramedic engineer for Colton Fire Department in Southern California, and runs Hold The Line during his off duty time...

Here is a little more about the organization:

Our mission is to lessen the emotional and physical effects of PTS/PTSD in First Responders through fly fishing and brotherhood.
We envision a community of First Responders who strive to manage the stress of their profession in healthy ways, utilizing fly fishing as a means to heal wounds seen and unseen, and combat the negative effects of PTS/PTSD.

Community – As a brotherhood of individuals, we know the value of community and the healing that can take place together.
