The Mutual Agreement plan is where you get commitment or buy-in from your customer to move forward into the next phase of your engagement with them.  It’s crucial that you establish a mutually agreed upon plan before taking any further steps with a prospect or customer. Their response to this request will show you how committed or serious they are about buying from you. If you cannot come to a mutually agreed upon plan for the sales process, then you might as well just walk away now. You’ll be chasing your customer down throughout the entire sales cycle and ultimately lose out on the deal.
