Did you know that the change in seasons has an impact on animals so why wouldn't it affect humans? The holiday or winter blues have another name. According to Psychiatry.org, it is called Seasonal Affective Disorder, which is a reoccurring disorder that happens every year at the same time. Scientist suggests that less sunlight and colder temperatures during fall and winter lead to these feelings of sadness. Couple that with holiday stressors and this could be a recipe for disaster.
