Tiffany has lived with seasonal depression, and an overall negative feeling about the holiday season for as long as she can remember; Allison's family would decorate for Christmas 365 days a year if the the neighbors wouldn't complain.

This episode talks about tough family dynamics, not believing in Santa or the "magic" of Christmas, gift giving, obligatory familial reciprocity (a term Tiffany has used to for years), and how their holiday traditions have ebbed, flowed, and changed during the course of their relationship and what holidays may look like moving forward
