In Luke 2:22-40, we consider the contrast between the Holiness of God and the lowliness of humanity, and the significance of His ability to use those who would be seen as insignificant for His purposes. Luke draws attention to the humility of the people and the way that God ordered these events to happen that shows the law and the prophets are fulfilled in Jesus.
