Welcome to the Hollywood Gatekeepers podcast! Start here to learn how we will be talking about readers in the film industry!

We are very excited to bring the job of being a reader to the forefront! Our first episode will cover what we do and why. As a reader and story analyst, I have read thousands of screenplays. Now I, along with my partner, Douglas Shaner, am training other people to become expert readers.  

We have three philosophies when it comes to reading screenplays. We believe that readers should be: 1. Champions for writers. 2. A support system for producers. 3. Entrepreneurs

We intend to do this podcast every Friday to discuss the reading process. We will have some solo episodes, we have several Oscar-winning guests lined up to discuss details regarding reading and producing screenplays, we will broadcast appearances at panels and screenings, and we will interview people who have resources to benefit entrepreneurs. Since we believe all artists to be entrepreneurs, we are eager to be resources to help you build your business.
