Love him or hate him, there’s no denying that Quentin Tarantino marches to his own beat.  For that reason alone, I’ve always been a huge fan.  It takes a certain bravery to flow against the current of what works in your chosen profession.  Or what’s safe.  And profitable.  Beyond that, it takes a measurable amount of genius do all that in a way that works, and works well.
