1: Battle with the Flesh

So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17 For

the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the

flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want.

2: Victory with the Spirit

“Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. 18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, 20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 5:15-20

3: Fullness through Surrender

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in

you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were

bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies. 1Corinthians 6:19-20
