Holy Spirit: Is He Charismatic?

What is your relationship with the Holy Spirit like? Is he like the weird next-door neighbor? Are you cautious but curious about him? Or is he your friend? We’re getting to know the Holy Spirit for who he really is and who he is for us. The more we let him into our lives, the more we receive all that he has for us.

Reflection Questions:

  • What experiences of the spiritual gifts have you had?
  • Are there any gifts that you are skeptical of? If so, why?
  • Why do you think Satan would try so hard to discredit the gifts of the Spirit?
  • Read 1 Corinthians 14:1. Why do you think the Bible specifically tells us to desire spiritual gifts? Why do you think there is the added emphasis on prophecy?
