Webster defines passion as a powerful or compelling emotion or feeling. A strong feeling or desire. The Bible defines passion as a powerful suffering, affliction, affection, or compassion. Christ had this type of passion for us! A powerful compassion to reconnect us to God through Him. When he left earth after His resurrection, He left us the power of the Holy Spirit to endow us with a powerful passion to spread the word throughout the world. But do we have this same type of passion and if not, what can we do to get it?
