My sisters and brothers, today our podcast is about Pentecost Sunday, for in a few days, it will be Pentecost Sunday. Our podcast song is ‘Holy Spirit Pentecost’. Now I bet you think today we will be talking about Pentecost, just so we could be ready for this Sunday, right? Well, yes, you would be right in thinking that, I do admit, for after all, it is one of my favorite Scripture readings. 

Here’s a memory from the early 80s’ that I hold close to my heart. Through God’s Grace and Mercy and the Inspiration of the Holy Spirit, I was going to teachings on the Holy Spirit and on Pentecost, given by Father Bill McCarthy and Sister Bernadette Sheldon. Let me tell you, these teachings were so powerful, they opened my mind like I never felt before and never dreamed possible. I kept wanting more. I deeply wanted the Holy Spirit to use me, to teach me everything, to fill me with Wisdom, to control me completely, the Holy Spirit truly became my Most Treasured Friend. And it was at that time that my Holy Spirit Pentecost song, was created, and yes, it does belong to the Holy Spirit, as do all my songs.
