On Holy Wednesday, we find Jesus confronted again by the Pharisees and Sadducees—demanding a sign from heaven. But instead of giving in to their hardened hearts, Jesus turns to His disciples with a warning: “Beware the leaven of the Pharisees.”

This episode invites us to reflect on the subtle influences that can distort truth and weaken faith. As the cross draws nearer, Jesus calls His followers to spiritual alertness and discernment.
