The scripture say His bride has made herself ready, "and to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine lining is the righteous acts of the saints." (Revelations 19:8) so don't tell me doing right doesn't count for something. We want to be ready when Jesus comes, His 2nd time to take His bride/His church to heaven and we want to be in the New Jerusalem church when she comes back in the marriage ceremony and procession of New Jerusalem descending from God out of heaven to Earth. "Then I saw a "new Heaven and a new Earth" for the first Heaven and the first Earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.
I saw the Holy City the New Jerusalem, coming down out of Heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Look! God's dwelling place is now among the people, and He will dwell with them. They will be His people, and God Himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death' or morning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." (Revelations 21:1-4) NIV read it. As New Jerusalem represents the bride of Christ in all her glory! Please friends, be there.
