Kanwal Lashari was born and raised in Pakistan. She moved to Melbourne, Australia with her daughter and husband not long before the covid pandemic hit. Kanwal is a creative, passionate soul who shares her love of cooking, culture and stories through Free to Feed – Social Enterprise Catering Melbourne We met at Melbourne's MPavilion in late 2024 at a Free to Feed event. In this conversation we talk about her experience of covid lock downs and major health issues while finding a place to call home. About giving to others and most of all about giving to oneself.
