In 1933, a religious leader named Marie Ogden, led her followers to San Juan county so they could have their own commune to live and worship in: The Home of Truth. Just two years later, it all came crashing down when the death of a member drew attention to the commune and made her followers question who their leader actually was - and wasn't.
