It is no coincidence that story after story contains the pattern of exile. The message of the Bible is that the human race is a band of exiles trying to come home. The parable of the prodigal son is about every one of us.

Big Idea: God welcomes all to come home.

Jesus, I recognize that I am a sinner in need of Your forgiveness. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins. I want to turn away from my sins and place my trust in You as my Lord and Savior. Please receive me now. I pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
