I think a lot of judgments are made about, again, choices, or substances, or mental health, and all of those things. That could be any of us. If that were me, I wouldn’t want people judging how I got there. I would want help to get out of that situation. I think that’s what a lot of our neighbors are looking for.”

Ending homelessness can be done, says Rodney Stockment, the city of Indianapolis’ senior strategy director for homelessness, adding that collaboration and supportive services are imperative to its eradication.
