Hello, thanks for listening. How are you healing?
In this eighteenth episode of It’s a Journey, Stephanie meets Jyothi to talk about homeopathy. Our theme today is Homeopathy: How This Gentle Medicine Works?
Dr Jyothi Kosaraju is a Mental Health Counsellor and a Homeopathic Physician. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Homeopathy and a Master Degree in both Psychology and Counselling. Jyothi has been practicing as a Registered Homeopathic Physician for 25 years and is a Provisional Clinical Member of the Singapore Association of Counselling.
When it comes to healing, she believes that a holistic understanding of both physical and mental health is essential. This is the reason behind her decision to pursue a profession in counselling and homeopathy simultaneously. She considers that getting to the psychosomatic origins of the problem or disease is a must and this is why she is always excited to advocate for and talk about holistic healing.
Originally from Hyderabad, India, Jyothi currently lives with her husband and two teenage sons in Singapore where she has grown, from her high-rise condominium, a beautiful herb garden and put together a peaceful meditation space.
Today, Stephanie and Jyothi chat about
- The expansion of homeopathy use worldwide,
- Homeopathy in preventive care approaches to medicine,
- What happen during a first consultation with a Homeopathic Doctor, and
- The myths around homeopathy.
Stephanie wraps up this episode by uncovering Jyothi’s delightful daily practice.
