Our show is broken into eight segments. Here’s a breakdown of what goes down in today’s show! (Tip: you can easily move between segments using the chapter feature in your podcast app!)
Segment 1: We open the show with our usual banter. How much sleep is enough? Did YouTube censor us? Is Dallas prepared for the show?
Segment 2: We discuss the recent controversy in the NBA as the stand vs. kneel for the national anthem debate returns. Eric calls in to give his thoughts on the matter.
Segment 3: A man opened fire in a hotel room after a mother and son were not practicing social distancing. What a story.
Segment 4: Zach introduces our guest for the day, Will Hurst. We then visit the passings of Harvey Updyke and Herman Cain.
Segment 5: Most of this segment is a clip from a recent hearing on social media censorship in which Jim Jordan delivers a monologue excoriating big tech companies for censoring conservative voices. Zach then adds his perspective and looks at the importance of coming to individual conclusions rather than having someone else do your thinking for you.
Segment 6: Will, certifiable redneck, tells a side-splitting story about his recent encounter with a dog and a deer. There’s no good way to describe it; you just have to listen to this one.
Segment 7: While we try to find a nickname for our now-recurring guest Will, he continues to crack us up with his unmistakably country mannerisms.
Segment 8: Dallas gives us our word of the day (“cap”) before we look at a story about the crimes of a state lawmaker in Tennessee. And as we wrap up the show, Will keeps us in stitches. Expect to see more of him in the near future!
