The George Real Estate Group Hometown Hero this week is David McMurray who just retired after 50 years of law enforcement service.  David served in the military and then joined the North Carolina Highway Patrol for a distinguished thirty year career.  After his retirement from the Patrol, he joined the Henderson County Sheriff's Department and served as the Rangemaster for the firearms training unit. Thank you David McMurray for your years of service and protection of our Hometown.  You are a hero in our book.
