The George Real Estate Hometown Hero this week is long time Henderson County Apple Grower Wayne Barnwell.  Wayne and his family grow apples, peaches and lots of Henderson County goodness on their farm that his family has farmed for generations.  The Barnwell's operate Barnwell and Sons Apples on Highway 64 East - the first apple house on your right as your headed out into apple country.  They're open seven days a week with fresh picked Henderson County apples and lots of other locally grown goodness.
