Homeyra had a vision of leaving Iran and coming to the US to live and study. She did just that at 19 years of age with no support, no guidance, and now she has a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She has worked with female veterans’ emotional needs. No one thinks that the military would suppress sexual assault of their female personnel, but they do. If a female speaks up, she is retaliated against for speaking up and then they do nothing to the perpetrator.  She now empowers women into their authentic self with her “Power to The Self” program.
