Philadelphia police in the 35th district are investigating a homicide that left one man dead in the city's Logan section. The shooting happened Friday just before 8:30 p.m. on the 6000 block of North Beechwood Street.

Police say the shooting happened just before 8:30 along the 1600 block of North Beechwood street. Police say a man in his early 20s was shot multiple times. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
