Deacon Ryan first reads the gospel for the 4th Sunday of Ordinary Time, Luke 4:21-30.

Then, in his homily, Deacon Ryan focuses on the how we are all lovingly made by God for a purpose.  Part of that purpose is to proclaim the truths of our Lord Jesus Christ.  But, as our first reading and Gospel today identify, we will be persecuted.  We must remain strong, as our Lord tells us that we will be with us.
