The words of Holy Scripture don’t magically become clear to us by simply reading the text. Lots of unbelievers read the bible for various reasons, and they’re not automatically saved by it. But Jesus opened the mind of the disciples to understand all the things in the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms. Now that he has ascended to heaven and sits at his right hand, we can also understand the scriptures. But how can we do that? And what benefits do we receive since Jesus ascended?
