Palm Sunday is one of the most explicit moments in Jesus' ministry where he kept from no one who he was and what he was coming to do for the house of Israel. In these events recorded in Matthew's Gospel, we find that Jesus' triumphal entry and his cleansing of the temple were all part of the great fulfillment of the Old Covenant types and shadows and they teach us richly still today.
