But, what happens when the Bible and its translations are made subject to the worldviews of post-Christian or anti-Christian cultures? When conservatives are marked more by what they hate, than what they love, we have the problem of Ephesus. We are called to hate. . . the deeds of the Nicolaitans, whoever they were. But, more importantly, we are called to love. . .
