Ever notice a thing, and then keep on noticing it as it seems to crop up over and over again in the following days?

Well, there's a name for that. And while we explain what that's all about, we also have to talk about the thing that kept cropping up, the homunculus.  It's in D&D, but it's also in some very old folklore along with some modern day trickery. Naturally, we let the idea incubate for a bit.
