Welcome to Honest Voice. Before we dive into the episodes, we wanted to tell you how we got here.

Todd is a retired Navy veteran and crisis intervention coordinator. Carolsue comes from a mental health and crisis services background. Together they spent over a decade teaching law enforcement, hospitals, and civilians how to communicate more effectively — and realized these skills should be available to everyone.

We started in crisis intervention training and expanded to everyone, because the skills that work in the most intense situations work everywhere — at home, at work, and in every relationship you care about.

This is not therapy. This is training. Practical communication skills drawn from crisis intervention that work everywhere.

Kindness without honesty is performance. Honesty without kindness is cruel. There's a better way — and that's what Honest Voice is about.
