Exodus 20:12 “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you. 

Ways to respect your elders • Give elderly people your time and assistance. Visit them in nursing homes. • No slang. Use manners when speaking to them. Don’t talk to them how you would your friends. • Listen to them. Listen to stories about their life.  • Be patient with them and be a friend.
