On this significant Yahrzeit, we reflect on the teachings of the Altar Rebbe and the profound impact of his wisdom on our spiritual journeys. In Chapter 15 of Tanya, we encounter the concept of the “Beinoni”—an individual who, while not yet having transformed their heart, diligently strives to align their actions, thoughts, and speech with divine will. This chapter distinguishes between two types of Beinoni: the “Lo Avodo,” for whom spirituality flows naturally, and the “Oved Elokim,” who grapples with inner desires to serve God. As we commemorate this day, let's embrace the challenge of awakening our love for Hashem, pushing through our natural inclinations to attain that transformative 101st repetition in our spiritual practices. Together, may we embody the teachings of the Altar Rebbe and illuminate the world with kindness and Torah light!
