In this week's Shift the Field TV podcast episode, I share how I learned to honor my soft skills for business success and how you can do the same.

Growing up, I was told by my math teacher, "If you can, become an engineer and make a lot of money." I knew I wanted to make money, so that's what I did, and I became an engineer at Proctor and Gamble.

Everything was going great until, during a review (a positive one, I will add), my supervisor said, "Your soft skills are great, Darla, but they will only get you so far here." That stayed with me.

Part of me thought bullsh*#, while the other part of me believed him. Find out how my own transformation helped me trust my inner knowing, intuition, and soft skills as a viable and valuable path forward.
