Acclaimed poet, essayist, and novelist Honorée Fanonne Jeffers visited LFPL's Main Library to discuss her bestselling novel, The Love Songs of W.E.B. Du Bois, which won the National Book Critics Circle Award in Fiction, was longlisted for the National Book Award in Fiction, and was included in “Ten Best Books of 2021” by The New York Times and The Washington Post.

Jeffers is the recipient of the 2023 Spalding Prize for the Promotion of Peace and Justice in Literature for her much lauded debut.
