The Brothers from the 818 stand with your solidarity but ask that we continue to honor the memory of George Floyd, peacefully. In the words of Martin Luther King, “We must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence.” **
The Brothers from the 818 send our prayers out to the family of brother George Floyd, the gentleman that was killed in police custody this past Monday, May 25, 2020. In light of the events that have been occurring across the country in the aftermath of his murder, the Brothers from the 818 felt a need to come back a little early and bring you Episode 7. You are invited to our conversation. We discuss what happened; the protests and uprisings; responses from our government; and steps to prepare ourselves for the future. What are you saying to your children during this time? How can we prepare the next generation to be better equipped?
