Being a spiritual leader is not easy. Too often, church leaders face grumbling over little things—like the carpet, the temperature, or disagreements among members. But Scripture gives us a better way. In 1 Thessalonians 5:12–13, Paul calls us to honor those who labor among us in the Lord. We can honor godly leadership by praying for our leaders, showing them respect, encouraging them, and by bearing fruit in our own lives.
