The"E.W. Lindsay" interview was conducted in the 1930's by Harry Middleton Hyatt a Folklorist Historian from Illinois, who traveled the entire U.S. southern States conducting interviews with Hoodoo practitioners, Conjure men and woman and Rootworkers.
Mr. E.W Lindsay provides us with an authentic and unapologetic portrait of a male Hoodoo worker from the early 19th Century. Mr. Lindsay is not only a wealth of knowledge but also an iconic forgotten Hoodoo voice.
