Hoovering is a technique a narcissist uses to gain control over you. Just like the hoover vacuum to suck you back in the toxic relationship. Now victims don't realize this they think they just miss them. That's no the case. The narcasissts realize they lost control over you. They can go through phone calls, text messages, email and even have a friend relay a message to you. Best way to solve this is change email address, phone number, change friends even your home address. Which I did not mention.
