Jen Thomm became a widow in November 2020, after her husband, Nick Thomm (Ave Maria Radio), passed after a nearly 15 year battle with a brain tumor. They enjoyed over 19 years of marriage, meeting orientation weekend at Franciscan University and marrying after graduation. Jen is a transplant from Pennsylvania, Nick a native of Illinois. They made their home in Michigan, surrounded by a dynamic and faith filled community. Jen is busy raising their three children - Sarah (18), David (14), Andrew (7), while kicking off her 24th year in the classroom. She is an experienced catechist, teacher and speaker. Jen is passionate about walking with other young widows in their grief, particularly in parenting young kids, living through transitions, and helping others to embrace their suffering and use it to inspire others.
