Death is unnatural and it brings much sorrow and pain. But Christ reminds us that there is something that is worst than death - His future judgment. Christ's death affirms the certainty of this judgment as well as provides a way out from this judgment. Our response of faith in Jesus Christ in this world guarantees our hope for heaven in the future.
