A move is underway to completely change the way write-in candidates are treated in Utah. The drive was spurred by the way the pandemic short-circuited Utah’s primary process and hurt numerous candidates from getting access to delegates and voters. Today a U.S. congressional candidate and state senate candidate will deliver a letter demanding that write-in candidates have the ability to have their names printed on the ballots this November. Marci Campbell, who was a candidate for state senate, joins us to tell us more.
